Be real

Use your own name, age and photos. One account each. No impersonation, no fake profiles, no bots.

Photos

The main photo shows your face: no sunglasses, and not a group. A shirtless mirror selfie cannot be the main photo. One is fine further back if it is from your sport. No other people's children. No phone numbers, social handles or other contact details in a photo.

Be kind

Treat people as you would at the start line of a run. No harassment, hate, threats, bullying or pressure. No means no, and a pass is a pass.

Adults only

Turnout is for people aged 18 and over. We remove anyone who is not, and anything that involves under-18s.

Keep it safe

Meet somewhere public for the first few times, or at a Run Club. Tell someone where you are going. Never send money or share bank details. Do not share anyone else's private information, including where they live or work.

Keep it clean

No nudity or sexually explicit photos or messages. No illegal activity, violence or dangerous behaviour.

No spam, no selling

No adverts, scams, promotion of other apps, or asking for money, gifts or gift cards.

Tell us when something is wrong

Use the ••• menu on a profile or in a chat to report or block. We look at every report, and we act quickly on anything about safety. Blocked people are never told.

What happens if rules are broken

Depending on how serious it is: a warning, hiding your profile, or ending your account. If you think we got it wrong, email [email protected] and we will look again.
